Florida Panther: Endangered Species
As of today there are only an estimated 100 Florida panthers left in southern Florida. In 1832 the panthers were heavily hunted. They were perceived as a threat to humans and game animals. The most threatening events towards the panthers today are habitat loss, fragmentation, and degradation.
